Every Freebike in Helsinki is equipped with a contactless payment card terminal. You start a new ride using your payment card or phone /smartwatch.
No app needed
Bikesharing is now as easy to use as it can be. Just Tap and Ride. Of course, you can still download the Freebike app from the App store to check riding zones and detailed info about your rides.
Pre-authorization
Once you Tap your card, a pre-authorization of 10 € will be made on your card. Once you finish your rental the pre-authorization is cancelled.
