There are 3 levels of electric motor assistance level. You can pick the best for you in the Freebike app.

Default level (fastest)

Default level provides the most powerful accelerating assistance and the motor helps you up to 25 km/h. Default level is applied when riding using Tap and Ride.

Slower levels

Freebike provides electric motor assistance with slower acceleration and lower maximum speed.

Changing the assistance level

Open the Freebike app, go to the side menu and open the Settings section. Pick a speed from turtle to rabbit. The electric motor assistance level will be applied in a short while or immediately if you squeeze a brake lever 2 times quickly.

This assistance level is applied for all your future rides until you change it to different one.

The electric motor always switches off when you brake.
