With the new Freebike 2.0. app you can manage your payment card method.

Add payment card

Add a new card by clicking on the menu button and then on your account (your name) and selecting ”Payments” and ”Add card”. You will be asked to pay a small amount (0.1 - 1 €) to authorize the card.


When you have successfully completed the payment transaction, the information provided will automatically replace the information of the previous payment card and in the future transactions will be made from the new payment card. The amount paid when connecting a new card will be transferred to the balance of your user account. The balance will be used to charge different fees (tariffs and additional fees) arising from your use of the city bike service. For example, the next time you buy a tariff for five euros, you will only be charged four euros.


Payment cards linked to a city bike service user account can be charged retroactively for up to 2 years from the moment of registration of the payment card information. Charges will be made even if the card is disabled. The card issuer is responsible for charges and possible collection measures.


If you do not have the Freebike app and do not want to register, you can use any functional payment card to rent the bike with the Tap and ride tariff. 

Remove payment card

If your payment card has expired, Freebike system will remove it from your account. Remember, it is mandatory to have at least one payment card saved in the Freebike app to be able to rent a bike.


If you wish to remove your payment card, use the Freebike app. In the "Payments" section you can remove the card, if you have no debt.
